Meet Belinda
About the time I retired from teaching, I attended a ©STAMPIN' UP workshop and discovered the craft of "stamping." I had never used rubber stamps in a creative way, but to my surprise, with the use of stamps, inks, and papers, I discovered I could produce beautiful greeting cards without having to draw! It was easy, relaxing, and fun.
It didn’t take long before I had created boxes of greeting cards and my solution to getting rid of this rapidly growing supply was to sell them. I obtained a business license and created a website, and was soon in business!
In the beginning it was fun to make any cute or clever greeting card, but that soon became less of a challenge, and I like challenges. What I found to be the most exciting was making cards that were so personal the recipient knew immediately the card was made especially for him or her.
I still make lots of “stock” cards, just cute or clever cards for anyone and any occasion, but the task of creating a custom card is the most rewarding. When I finish a card for your Uncle Harry, I am confident that he will know the card was created especially for him. After all, it will be his favorite color, it will have his age, there will be die-cut fish jumping out of a lake (his favorite pastime is fishing), and the fishing tackle box will proudly display “Harry” right on the front of it! Felicitations, etc. greeting cards are really more than cards - they are truly gifts.
So I invite you to peruse my website and think about planning a personalized custom card for someone who is special to you. It’s easy, no more expensive than buying an equivalent card from a retail store, and trust me, the recipient will keep it and remember you for a long, long, time.
